Specialty Produce is an innovative company that has employed radical marketing techniques in an effort to reach their professional and millennial clientele. They use their reach on social media to provide a rich and lavish experience to their customers, from their 20 ft social media “waterfall” to the various displays around their retail space. There is a technically savvy client and they came to us with a vision to create a digital visual experience unlike any other.
Specialty Produce was installing a new check stand area and with it they wanted to add a 40 ft. by 8 ft. video wall display. We ran through the various options available, from traditional video walls to Direct View LED walls. The solution needed to be viewable to the customers as the waited to checkout, approximately 15-20 ft. from the screen. The mounting wall was mixed media and half of the wall was a walk-in cooler.
After running through a number of possible solutions there was only one that would satisfy all of their needs. It was new and dynamic, had an appeal to the customer, and provided a digital experience that was unparalleled in the city. We suggested they move forward with a Direct View LED video wall that had a 3 mm pixel pitch. This would give them the immersive experience and the resolution that they were looking for. We provided a turn-key solution to from end to end.
