Taming conference room wires

It used to be that conference rooms where used for face-to-face meetings and collaboration. Today’s offices and boardrooms have the ability to bring together team members stationed anywhere in the world. To be able to accomplish such an amazing feat, today’s conference room has to be able to accommodate computer, audio, video and communications equipment. All of that equipment means one thing; connectors and wires, lots of wires.

Altinex to the rescue with their Pop ‘N Plug line of interconnects.

Altinex has a product line of high quality interconnects that “pop-up” into a raised position to give users access to connectors. When not in use they can quickly and easily be put out of sight; all that is needed is to gently push them down. The Pop ‘N Plug connector will neatly recede into its housing until its upper lid surface positions itself perfectly level with the surrounding surface.

We are not kidding when we say high quality; indeed every aspect of their construction has been carefully planed and executed. For instance they boast a comfortable, smooth downward and upward operation afforded by an ingenious gas loaded mechanism.

Don’t want a different surface material showing on your custom surface?

Again Altinex comes to the rescue with their PNP417 and PNP517 models. These Pop ‘N Plug interconnects can be used in a situation where one desires to keep a surface free of any foreign material. How? By using the same cut-out piece as the upper surface for the “Pop ‘N Plug” interconnect. This clever feature is possible thanks to the design of the PNP417 and PNP517 models. They both allow the installer to use the same piece that was cut-out as the lid for the “Pup ‘N Plug” connector. This will produce a very nice installation that will not break the continuity of material across a given surface.
